EUROC shares nuisance call guidance video

Date

EUROC, a leading advocate for timeshare owners across Europe, has released a comprehensive video guide to help consumers combat the issue of unsolicited sales calls. The video, available on the EUROC website under the Support Hub tab, clearly explains the legal protections available to consumers and practical steps to stop and report nuisance callers.

“Our EUROC Timeshare Support Hub regularly receives reports from members about unwanted and often illegal sales calls,” said Bill Johnston, Chairman of EUROC. “This video is a valuable resource that will enable us to more efficiently assist those seeking relief from these calls.”

The video, which has a five and a half minutes duration, delves into the problems caused by unsolicited calls in the UK and Europe, the legislation designed to protect consumers, and actionable steps consumers can take to block calls and report offending companies.

This initiative follows the release of EUROC’s previous video on blocking nuisance calls on smartphones and a downloadable e-guide to help consumers protect themselves from scams.

“EUROC remains committed to producing tools that empower timeshare owners, who are frequently targeted by unscrupulous operators,” added Johnston.
