My father-in-law purchased multiple weeks weeks in different apartments at The Lakelands in the first few years after they were built in Ambleside, Cumbria. Since then, my husband and his parents have visited regularly and I myself have been joining them since 1994.  The Lakelands is still very much a big part of our family’s life and now our own children love visiting as much as we do. Our son doesn’t think of it as a holiday just an extension of his own home!

Over the years, we have seen many changes and have experienced every sort of weather imaginable! We have so many fantastic family memories from over the years….the resort is lovely, it is well-managed and each and every one of us look forward to visiting for many years to come.
