Passeggiate in Europa<\/strong><\/p>

Le passeggiate, che variano dalla Spagna e dal Regno Unito alla Francia, all'Italia, al Portogallo e all'Austria, mettono in evidenza la crisi idrica globale. Pi\u00f9 di 2 miliardi di persone nel mondo non hanno accesso all'acqua potabile e pi\u00f9 di 1.000 bambini muoiono ogni giorno a causa di malattie provocate da questa mancanza.<\/p>

6 chilometri per l'acqua<\/strong><\/p>

Ogni Walkathon copre una distanza simbolica di 6 chilometri, che rappresenta la distanza media che molti bambini in Africa, Asia e America Latina sono costretti a percorrere ogni giorno per raccogliere l'acqua dalla fonte pi\u00f9 vicina.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Gli escursionisti sanno come ci si sente<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le persone che vivono nella maggior parte del mondo occidentale possono fare pochi passi per raggiungere una rete idrica e aprire il rubinetto per avere accesso ad acqua pulita istantanea. Non tutti nel mondo sono cos\u00ec fortunati. Percorrendo questa distanza di 6 km, i partecipanti possono sperimentare una piccola parte della lotta quotidiana affrontata da coloro che non hanno accesso all'acqua potabile vicino alle loro case.<\/p>\n

L'iniziativa cerca di ridurre queste distanze e di offrire ai bambini l'opportunit\u00e0 di una vita pi\u00f9 dignitosa.<\/p>\n

Quest'anno l'attenzione \u00e8 rivolta a due progetti di aiuto specifici:<\/span><\/p>

India:<\/strong> Costruzione di servizi igienici domestici in 50 famiglie della comunit\u00e0 indigena Irular a Ranipet, Tamil Nadu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tanzania:<\/strong> Fornire un accesso sostenibile all'acqua potabile al villaggio di Kwedizinga, nella regione di Tanga.Questi progetti mirano a beneficiare oltre 5.600 persone, migliorando la loro salute e il loro benessere grazie a migliori servizi igienici e all'accesso all'acqua potabile.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le Walkathon for Water sono pi\u00f9 di semplici passeggiate di beneficenza: sono un invito a prendere posizione contro la crisi idrica globale. Partecipando, gli individui che scelgono di sostenere la sfida servono a sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica su questo problema urgente e a contribuire a soluzioni che possono cambiare la vita.<\/p>

L'obiettivo \u00e8 raccogliere quanti pi\u00f9 fondi possibili per sostenere progetti di accessibilit\u00e0 all'acqua in tutto il mondo e combattere la mortalit\u00e0 e la morbilit\u00e0 causate dalla scarsit\u00e0 d'acqua. Ogni chilometro percorso dai partecipanti simboleggia un chilometro che qualcun altro non dovr\u00e0 percorrere alla ricerca di acqua.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>
