Vingt-six (26) \u00e9tablissements Hilton Grand Vacations en Europe et au Royaume-Uni et la fondation We Are Water unissent \u00e0 nouveau leurs forces. Il s'agit de la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9dition de leur initiative \"Walkathons for Water\". Cette s\u00e9rie de vingt-et-une marches caritatives, qui seront organis\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rentes villes europ\u00e9ennes entre juillet et d\u00e9cembre 2024, vise \u00e0 collecter des fonds pour apporter de l'eau potable et des installations sanitaires \u00e0 des communaut\u00e9s isol\u00e9es en Inde et en Tanzanie.<\/strong><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Marches \u00e0 travers l'Europe<\/strong><\/p>

Les marches, qui se d\u00e9roulent en Espagne, au Royaume-Uni, en France, en Italie, au Portugal et en Autriche, mettent l'accent sur la crise mondiale de l'eau. En effet, plus de 2 milliards de personnes dans le monde n'ont pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau potable et plus de 1 000 enfants meurent chaque jour de maladies caus\u00e9es par ce manque d'acc\u00e8s.<\/p>

6 kilom\u00e8tres pour l'eau<\/strong><\/p>

Chaque Walkathon couvre une distance symbolique de 6 kilom\u00e8tres, repr\u00e9sentant la distance moyenne que de nombreux enfants d'Afrique, d'Asie et d'Am\u00e9rique latine sont oblig\u00e9s de parcourir chaque jour pour aller chercher de l'eau \u00e0 la source la plus proche.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Les marcheurs d\u00e9couvrent ce qu'ils ressentent<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les habitants de la plupart des pays occidentaux peuvent faire quelques pas vers une source d'eau et ouvrir le robinet pour avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de l'eau propre instantan\u00e9ment. Tout le monde n'a pas cette chance. En parcourant cette distance de 6 km, les participants d\u00e9couvrent une petite partie de la lutte quotidienne \u00e0 laquelle sont confront\u00e9s ceux qui n'ont pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de l'eau propre pr\u00e8s de chez eux.<\/p>\n

L'initiative vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire ces distances et \u00e0 offrir aux enfants la possibilit\u00e9 d'une vie plus digne.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, l'accent est mis sur deux projets d'aide sp\u00e9cifiques :<\/span><\/p>

Inde :<\/strong> Construction de toilettes domestiques dans 50 foyers de la communaut\u00e9 indig\u00e8ne Irular \u00e0 Ranipet, Tamil Nadu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tanzanie :<\/strong> Fournir un acc\u00e8s durable \u00e0 l'eau potable au village de Kwedizinga dans la r\u00e9gion de Tanga.Ces projets visent \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier \u00e0 plus de 5 600 personnes, en am\u00e9liorant leur sant\u00e9 et leur bien-\u00eatre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un meilleur assainissement et \u00e0 l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau potable.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Un appel \u00e0 la solidarit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l'action<\/strong><\/p>

Les Walkathons pour l'eau sont plus que de simples marches caritatives ; ils sont une invitation \u00e0 prendre position contre la crise mondiale de l'eau. En participant, les personnes qui choisissent de soutenir le d\u00e9fi servent \u00e0 sensibiliser \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me urgent et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 des solutions qui peuvent changer des vies.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

L'objectif est de collecter un maximum de fonds pour soutenir des projets d'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'eau dans le monde entier et lutter contre la mortalit\u00e9 et la morbidit\u00e9 caus\u00e9es par la p\u00e9nurie d'eau. Chaque kilom\u00e8tre parcouru par les participants symbolise un kilom\u00e8tre que quelqu'un d'autre n'aura pas \u00e0 parcourir pour trouver de l'eau.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Le calendrier du Walkathon<\/strong><\/p>
