HGV Expands European Footprint with Rebrand of Two Canary Islands Resorts

Fecha

ORLANDO, Fla. — Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. (NYSE: HGV) has officially celebrated the rebranding of two key properties in Spain’s Canary Islands following the completion of a multi-year renovation project. The transition introduces the Hilton Vacation Club brand to Royal Sunset Beach Club in Playa de Fañabé, Tenerife, and Sunset Harbour Club in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. Both resorts formally adopted the new branding on July 15, following extensive property enhancements carried out whilst remaining fully operational for members and holidaymakers.

The properties have been part of the Hilton Grand Vacations portfolio since 2021 following the acquisition of Diamond Resorts. Royal Sunset Beach Club, situated one block from Playa de Fañabé, provides studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom accommodation in a village-style setting. Sunset Harbour Club, aimed predominantly at families, offers amenities including a children’s pool and sits close to local attractions such as the Aqualand water park.

"It’s really important for us as we expand our global footprint, and we think about the reasons why we did these acquisitions over the last few years," said Derek De Salvia, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of Hilton Grand Vacations. "It’s to offer more destinations across the globe to our members, and this really fits that part."

Executive leadership, including De Salvia, Senior Vice President of Resort Operations Kevin Speidel, and Senior Vice President of Resort Operations for Europe Suzana Gomercic, joined local officials and community representatives at official ribbon-cutting ceremonies to mark the occasion.

The dual rebranding marks Hilton’s entry into the Canary Islands market and forms part of a wider strategic plan by HGV to update and rebrand several European properties during its ongoing international growth. Hilton Grand Vacations currently manages approximately 200 resorts across the U.S., France, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Austria, and Spain, serving over 720,000 members.
